Huai Yang Waterfall
Huai Yang Waterfall is located in Prachuap Khiri Khan province in central Thailand. Neighboring provences are Phetchaburi in the north and Chumphon in the south. This is a great waterfall to visit. The path to the top winds gently through the rainforest. It is not too steep to walk to the fourth level. There are a few resting spots along the way.
Along one section of the path at the entrance to the rainforest there are some interesting paving stones.They are interesting because they have engravings of the leaf structures of many of the trees that inhabit the rainforest.
At level three there is even a covered area with bench seating where you can take refuge from an unexpected rain shower. This is shown in one of the pictures in the slide show above.
At the fourth level of the Huai Yang waterfall you will be able to take a refreshing swim in the cool mountain pool. The day we climed to the fourth level the park rangers had two rubber tubes available for those who wanted to relax and float around on the mountain pool.
There is an abundance of fish in the rock pool. They are not very large only about 20 centermeters long. So don't be afraid of getting bitten. While you swim you might notice a soft, friendly nibble at your legs. Take a look at the photo of the fish in the Huai Yang Waterfall slide show above.
