Samet Villa has some great bungalows. The bungalows at Samet Villa were rebuilt in 2005 so they are still quite fresh and new looking inside. There are luxury bungalows and standard bungalows available for rent.The restaurant serves delicious food but closes early in the evening at around 9.30 pm. Ao Phai is one of the nicer beaches on the island.

For those who like to snorkel there is a rocky point with some marine life at the western end of the beach. You can hire snorkel gear from many places on the island. At night time next to Samet Villa you can join in at the disco. Thai DJ starts spinning at around 10.00 p.m. and carries on until the wee hours of the morning. It can be a little annoying for those who would like a quiet night but have rented a bungalow near the disco.
