This is Jomtien Beach. A little different to the beach at Pattaya. You will find more Thai people coming to Jomtien beach to play in the water, sit under umbrellas and eat Thai food. The road along the promenade is much wider than Beach Road Pattaya and has less traffic.

Jomtien Beach itself is usually quite a bit cleaner than the main beach at Pattaya Beach Road. Jomtien is best known for the water sports such as jet skis and para-sailing. There are also volley ball competitions held right on the beach attracting visitors from all over the world.

At the Northern end of Jomtien Beach is a section of the beach called Dongtan Beach. This is the gay beach of Pattaya and it stretches for about 250 meters from the Police box on the corner of the main esplanade in a northernly direction toward Pattaya.

There are quite a few dental clinics in Jomtien where some foreigners like to have their teeth attended to at a very reasonable price. These clinics are easier to access than the clinics over in Pattaya city area.
